The inspiration behind Flora's Friends began at home, around the kitchen table with felt-tip pens scattered everywhere and pages filled with joyful, imaginative drawings.

My daughter, Flora, has always loved anything to do with drawing. From a young age she didn’t just enjoy creating pictures – she wanted to do something with them. She would proudly present her artwork and then ask if it could be put onto a mug, a bag, or turned into a special gift for friends and family. What started as a child’s thoughtful idea quickly became something more.

Seeing how much joy Flora got from turning her drawings into personalised gifts made me realise how powerful children’s artwork really is. These drawings aren’t just pictures – they’re moments in time, full of personality, imagination and love. Turning them into custom products allows those memories to be kept, used, and cherished every day, rather than tucked away in a drawer.

That’s what inspired this website. It’s built on the idea of celebrating children’s creativity and transforming their artwork into one-of-a-kind products that are truly personal. Every item tells a story, just like Flora’s drawings do for us – stories of childhood, family, and the simple joy of giving something made from the heart. We wanted to provide far more than the standard t-shirts and hoodies all in one place, so here you will find a big selection. 

 What began with one little girl’s love for drawing has grown into a way for other families to preserve and share the magic of their children’s creativity too.
